"Race"ing to the White House in 2008

The most deeply ingrained human flaw is racism, and it is on full display this week in the Democrat Party. The intramural race war that has been brewing in the left wing of American politics is finally an open conflagration exposing the hypocrisy of the liberal mindset.

As white liberals were trying to assuage their guilt by seeking absolution from the new messiah of the left, Barack Obama, the masters of the Democrat plantation were busy changing the locks on the doors of the mansion.

The timing of Geraldine Ferraro's remarks on Obama's lack of substance and being the recipient of political affirmative action nicely coincided with the surfacing of videos in which Obama's pastor goes into a series of anti-American rants complete with the paranoid conspiracy theories that pass as left-wing intellectualism. As Ferraro fell on her political sword, handily provided by Hillary herself, Obama was forced to "denounce", in relative terms, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Obama's effort to heal the racial divide in America started out with an attack on the founding fathers, the Constitution, the conservatives, and even a dead guy who couldn't speak up for himself, Ronald Reagan. He explained the anger smoldering under the brush in the black community, a rage that white America doesn't see because it manifests itself in the barber shops and churches of the black community.

He used the classical liberal ploys of generalizing groups of people as victims instead of seeing them as individuals, speaking of the "black experience", saying that the white guys will vote for McCain, and drumming up class envy among his followers by attacking corporate America.

Saying that there is a black experience is like saying that there is a white experience. Is the white experience defined by the experience of a boy raised in the Appalachians, or is it the experience of a girl raised in southern California? Maybe it's the experience of a Pearl Harbor survivor, or a lobster fishermen in Maine, or a steel worker in New Orleans.

And I can guarantee you that I am one white guy who won't be voting for McCain.

Corporate America has done more for lower to middle class Americans than any liberal Democrat entitlement program ever has. By providing jobs and low-cost goods, Walmart has raised the standard of living for millions of people despite the sabotage of liberals in government. Drug companies have developed life-saving medications, extending the lives of even the poorest; computer giants have made education more accessible than ever; and car companies have made cars that last longer, are more reliable and made financing them easier than ever. Mortgage companies made credit easier to attain and gave millions of high-risk individuals a chance to build equity and wealth through home ownership and break the cycle of poverty that they grew up in.

Obama wasn't building bridges in his speech Tuesday, he was rallying his liberal base by digging an even deeper and wider gulf between the two Americas. By poking at the raw nerve of racial tension, he elevated himself into the pantheon of black leaders in America, but did not make himself an American leader.

Obama's speech will remind his supporters that liberals judge them not by the "content of their character", but by the color of their skin. Prejudices lying dormant in the hysteria of Obama-mania will surface once again, which gives the Democrats the perpetual victims they need to prop up as evidence that America is still stuck in the 20th century.

And Hillary will be laughing all the way to the White House.

Political Correctness, Yes; Free Speech, No

The politically correct movement in America continues to run a muck.

Something as innocent as being painted in black face, like Al Jolson is in the photo to the left, has become a "hate crime".

The liberals in our great country are doing their best to undermine our freedom of speech by determining what language is acceptable and unacceptable, and who is allowed to use or not use certain words.

Instead of bringing unity, the proponents of political correctness continue to divide the country by classifying people according to race, sexual orientation, political ideology, social class, and national or ethnic origin.

Here's a couple items from this week that prove that "political correctness" is nothing more than an attempt to stifle free speech in America.

LaShawn Barber has a stinging essay on the uproar created by the NAACP and one of it's members, Gary Hines.

The controversy surrounds a 1939 play called Ten Little Niggers, renamed Ten Little Indians, and then renamed again And Then There Were None.

A 9 year old boy was suspended from an Arizona school for the "hate crime" of calling blacks "brown people".

If you read the full story, you'll find that the boy was coerced into using the phrase "brown people" by the mother of the boy he had a problem with, and she's a detention room officer at the very same school! Well isn't that convenient!

Talk show host Michael Savage is under attack from liberals and Muslims, particularly CAIR, for his diatribes against the cult of Islam.

CAIR is leading the charge to get Savage fired from his job, joining a growing movement that is taking aim at conservative talk radio.

If Hillary is elected in '08, don't be surprised to see the attack on talk radio ratcheted up, since it's the most powerful source of conservative ideology today.

Mutiny on the Bounty Hunter: Dog and the N-word

Duane "Dog" Chapman, the star of the cable reality series "Dog the Bounty Hunter", was caught this week using the N-word in a recorded conversation with his son he thought was private.

His son, Tucker Chapman, had already made a deal with National Enquirer to get a recording of his dad using the N-word so they could have some fun trying to ruin is career.

I've seen two episodes of this A&E reality show. Dog and his fellow tattooed low-lifes spend their time finding people of similar character to their own who happen to be jumping bail and bringing them in to face justice. It's pretty hard to tell the difference between the scumbags on either side of the law in this series.

Of course, the cry of racism was raised because of the use of the N-word, which was supposedly declared dead and symbolically buried in a ceremony a few months ago by civil rights activists. The symbolism was to help take the power of the word away and free the oppressed blacks in America.

I guess some people didn't get the memo on the N-word being dead and having no power, because the uproar over Dog's use of the word has forced A&E to halt production of his show.

Personally, I never use the word and find it completely disgusting that other people do use it without even thinking about it and the power it has to demean fellow humans who have been created in the image of God.

However, I also believe in free speech and free enterprise. Dog should be able to use the word if he wants, whether publicly or privately, and A&E should have the power to cancel his show if they don't want to be associated with it.

I really can't understand how fans of the show could be offended, considering how low their standards have to be to watch this piece of crap. Nevertheless, viewers can express their indignation by switching the channel, thereby withdrawing their support of the show and it's sponsors, who will move on to greener pastures.

What alarms me the most is how our culture views people in the public eye. Once they find out you're human and have prejudices, foibles, dark secrets, or ill-manners, they demand that your career be ruined on the spot and that your dark stain on humanity be removed in perpetuity.

Yeah, we have racists, like Dog, Michael Richards, and Mel Gibson. We have drug addicts like Robert Kennedy Jr, Rush Limbaugh, and Robin Williams. We have sex addicts like Larry Craig, Bill Clinton, and PeeWee Herman. The world is full of people who have some dark weakness that they have or have not given into to some degree or another.

The stature of the person shouldn't be determined by their own dark weakness, since sin and weakness is a universal fault, rather it should be determined by how they correct the wrong course they are on. Accepting the truth of our fallen nature and dealing with it are the measure of the man or woman.

Dealing with it in this case doesn't mean running to the "Reverend" Al Sharpton for absolution. Al Sharpton represents the African race as much as I represent the white race. Dog needs to confront his own dark, sinful nature by seeking an audience with God, not an audience with some impotent, sinful human like Sharpton.

This should be seen as an opportunity to see what Dog, the man, is made of. We already know he's human, now let's see how he handles the truth of his weak nature.

University of Delaware Responds to Expose'

The University of Delaware came under attack this week from conservatives for hate-filled racist views they promote through their "residence life educational program".

I wont go into detail about the program except to say that it promotes the view that all white people are racists and that this view must be accepted by the student. The whole fire.org article is here.

The University of Delaware has responded by lying through their teeth. Here's a few excerpts:

"Far from stifling free speech, the residential life educational program seeks to encourage free speech."

"Students in residence halls are not forced to participate, and certainly are not forced to agree with any particular point of view."

"The residential life educational program, which has been developed with the express intent of helping students think critically and analytically, has had the input of student leaders, faculty and administrators and is continually assessed through feedback from individuals and through focus groups."

Hey, we all love free speech, but using our tax dollars to teach kids that all white people are racist through a "educational program" smacks of Stalinism.

Pardon for White People

Are you a white person who feels guilty about the slavery that used to exist in America before Republicans ended it?

Do you have a hard time looking a person of color in the eye because your conscience is killing you about the way their ancestors may or may not have been treated?

Has your confidence in the bedroom been eroded by the transference of guilt imposed on you by liberals, race-pimps, and educators who hate America and blame all their problems on "white interlopers" and "himey-towners"?

Well we have the solution for you!!!

You can be granted "Amnesty and Pardon" by Walter E. Williams, who has generously granted such entitlements to people of European descent (white people).

And it won't cost you a dime!!!

So download your personal copy of pardon today and you'll never again have to apologize for being white in America.
